Read the replies under any public X post as JSON, with one call. This is the read side only: it returns the replies people already posted, it does not post a reply for you.
Most pages that rank for this keyword mix up reading replies with posting them. Posting a reply on the official X API costs $0.015 per post created. Reading replies costs $0.005 per post read. Here, one call returns a page of replies for $0.003.

- Basic $29/mo: 10,000 calls included, $2.90 per 1,000 calls.
- Per 1,000 replies: one call returns a page of replies. If a call returns 20 replies, that is $0.15 per 1,000 replies on pay as you go. Busy posts return a full page, quiet posts return fewer.
- Plans: X is on paid plans only. The free trial covers TikTok only.

Frequently asked questions
Does this read replies or post them?
It reads them. Pass a tweet_id and you get the replies under that post as JSON. It does not post anything to X.
How do I find the tweet ID?
It is the number at the end of the post URL. A post link looks like x.com/handle/status/1234567890123456789, and the number at the end is the tweet_id.
How many replies does one call return?
One page of replies. A busy post returns a full page, a quiet post returns fewer. Use the cursor to get more.
How much do 1,000 replies cost?
If a call returns 20 replies, 1,000 replies need 50 calls, which is $0.15 on pay as you go. The official X API charges $5.00 for the same 1,000 post reads.
X is on paid plans: Basic $29/mo for 10,000 calls, Pro $99/mo for 50,000 calls, or pay-as-you-go at $0.003 a call. The free trial covers TikTok only, so a trial key gets a 402 on X. Get your API key or try it in the Playground.
