Search TikTok videos by keyword and get the results as JSON. There is no official TikTok search API: the Research API is for approved academics only and the Display API only covers your own account. This endpoint is the search API TikTok never shipped.
Use it for trend tracking, brand monitoring, finding videos about a product, or feeding a research dataset. One call returns 20 videos by default, up to 50 with the count field.

Frequently asked questions
Is there an official TikTok search API?
No. TikTok has no public search API for commercial use. The Research API is academics only and does not offer a general search endpoint for commercial users.
What sort options exist?
The sort_type field takes 0 to 2. The default returns the most relevant videos first.
How do I page through results?
Use offset to move through the result set, or raise count up to 50 for a bigger page. Each call costs 1 credit.
How much are 10,000 search results?
