Social Data API is one API key for X data. Profiles, user posts, search and replies, all as clean JSON in the same shape, all from the same key you use for TikTok, Instagram and Reddit.
The official X API charges $0.005 per post read. A 20-post timeline costs $0.10 on the official API. The same 20 posts cost $0.003 here, one call, because one call returns a page of posts. There is no free tier on the official API since February 2026, and post reads are capped at 3 million a month before you need Enterprise.

The call

What it costs
- Pay as you go: $0.003 a call, which is $3.00 per 1,000 calls.
- Basic $29/mo: 10,000 calls included, $2.90 per 1,000 calls.
- Pro $99/mo: 50,000 calls included, $1.98 per 1,000 calls.
- Per 1,000 posts: one call returns a page of posts, typically around 20, so $0.15 per 1,000 posts on pay as you go. The official X API charges $5.00 per 1,000 post reads.
- Plans: X is on paid plans only. The 3-day free trial covers TikTok only, a trial key gets a 402 on X.

Is the official X API really $0.005 per post?
Yes. Since February 2026 the official X API is pay per use: $0.005 per post read, $0.010 per user read, $0.015 per post created, with no free tier and a 3 million post-read monthly cap before Enterprise.
Do I need an X developer account?
No. You sign up here, get one API key, and call the endpoints. No X developer account, no app review, no login.
How many posts does one call return?
One call returns a page of posts, typically around 20. Use the cursor to page through more.
Is X on the free trial?
No. The 3-day free trial covers TikTok only, 100 calls. X needs a paid plan: Basic $29/mo, Pro $99/mo, or pay as you go from a $10 top-up. A trial key calling X gets a 402.
