TikTok API - Videos
TikTok user videos API
Get a TikTok creator's videos as JSON by username or secUid. 20 videos per call by default. $0.003 a call by secUid.

Live now
Get a TikTok creator's videos as JSON: titles, view counts, like and comment counts, publish dates and video ids. Pass a secUid for 1 credit, or a username for 2 credits (the username needs a profile lookup first).
This is video metadata, not a downloader. If you want the video file itself, this endpoint is not the right tool. If you want to track what a creator posts, how their videos perform, or build a dataset of a creator's work, this is it.
The call
One API key works for every endpoint below. Send your key in the x-api-key header.
curl -X POST https://social-data-api.chideraezeudu2.workers.dev/v1/tiktok/videos \
-H "x-api-key: YOUR_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"uniqueId": "example_creator"}'
Videos takes secUid (1 credit) or uniqueId, a username (2 credits total, profile lookup first). It also takes count (default 20, max 50) and cursor for the next page.
What you get back
{
"platform": "tiktok",
"endpoint": "tiktok.videos",
"credits_used": 2,
"upstream_cost_usd_per_call": 0.001,
"key_id": "...",
"plan_type": "trial",
"result": { "...": "upstream video list data" }
}
Response shape, example values only, not real data. Every response uses this wrapper. The result field holds the upstream provider's data, in its own shape. credits_used tells you what the call cost.
What it costs
- By secUid: 1 credit a call, $0.003 on pay as you go, $3.00 per 1,000 calls.
- By username: 2 credits a call, $0.006 on pay as you go, $6.00 per 1,000 calls. Get the secUid once from the profile endpoint and reuse it to pay 1 credit.
- Per 1,000 videos: 20 videos per call by default, so $0.15 per 1,000 videos by secUid on pay as you go. At count 50, $0.06 per 1,000 videos.
- Free trial: 3 days, 100 calls on TikTok, card required.
How it compares
| Option | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Social Data API | $0.003 a call by secUid; $0.15 per 1,000 videos at 20 per call | One sync call, one answer. Metadata only, no video files. |
| Apify, clockworks TikTok Scraper | $3.00 per 1,000 results on Starter (per Oct 2026 roundups, re-verify) | Async actor: submit a job, poll, then read a dataset. Same headline price per 1,000, slower to use. |
| Apify, Apidojo TikTok Scraper | $0.30 per 1,000 posts (per Oct 2026 roundups, re-verify) | Cheapest per result, async, a different actor with its own limits. |
How it works
- Get one API key from the Social Data API dashboard. The same key works for TikTok, X, Instagram and Reddit.
- Send the call above with your key in the
x-api-keyheader. - Use the JSON. List endpoints take
count(default 20 results per call, max 50) andcursorfor the next page.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between secUid and uniqueId?
secUid is TikTok's encrypted user id. uniqueId is the username. The videos endpoint only accepts secUid upstream, so a username call does a profile lookup first, which is why it costs 2 credits.
Why does a username cost 2 credits?
Because the call does two things: a profile lookup to turn the username into a secUid, then the videos call. Pass the secUid directly and it costs 1 credit.
Does it download the video file?
No. This endpoint returns video metadata: titles, view counts, like and comment counts, publish dates and video ids. It does not return video files.
How do I get the next page of videos?
Use the cursor field with the cursor from the last response. Each page costs the same as the first call.
